Prof. Ugolino Livi, MD, FETCS, is Full Professor of Cardiac Surgery at University of Udine, Former Chairman of the Cardiothoracic Department and Director of the Cardio Surgery Unit and Transplantation Programme at the University Hospital in Udine (Italy). He made his training in cardiac surgery at University of Padua (Italy) and in UK with Mr D. Ross and Prof Sir M. Yacoub.
In the Editorial Board of several international Journals and reviewer for many others, author of over 400 publications on international Journals and speaker at several lectures at main congress. Research interests in cardiac transplantation a mechanical circulatory support.
